What You’ll Be Doing:
The Wound Care Nurse - RN implements policies and procedures, along with standards of care and practice related to patient care needs involving various types of wounds. The Wound Care - RN provides direct patient care and assistance to staff nurses, and acts as consultative service regarding wound care to clinical staff. The Wound Care - RN performs wound care functions under the oversight of a Wound Care Director.

Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an approved Nursing Program. BSN Preferred.
Licenses/Certification: Registered Nurse - RN in the District of Columbia. Current BLS certification. Wound care certificate from ANCC accredited program within two years of hire.
Experience: Two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
